About the department: The Department of Clinical Hematology at AIIMS institutions typically focuses on diagnosing and treating both benign and malignant blood disorders in adults as well as paediatric population, including conditions like anaemias including sickle and thalassemia, thrombocytopenia’s, myelodysplastic syndrome, acute and chronic leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, bleeding and clotting disorders etc. We have a state-of-the-art Bone marrow transplant unit in which both autologous and allogeneic BMTs are being done actively.
